Friday ride starting at Station Master’s Cafe, Hadlow Rd Willaston.
Route is one of our usual out towards Mickle Trafford then Waverton, Tarvin, Oscroft then Kelsall to go up Yeld Hill then lunch at the foot of The Yeld so 27 miles with 800 foot of climb (mostly the Yeld). Return via Oscroft, Gt Barrow A51 cyclepath, Greenway for 24m and 500 foot (mostly from the Marshes to Hadlow!)
The ride starts at 10:15 if Merseyrail pass users are riding, the Birkenhead Central 09:30 train gets to the Hooton at 09:50 and Hadlow is just a twiddle (a mile) away. The 09:37 train should be OK too, but just send a WhatApp to the group, and we’ll either meet you if we are heading over missing link, or wait.
We will leave earlier if everyone is ready.
The surprisingly busy cafe opens at 09:30 for those early enough to partake of cake and coffee.
